The Aldrich House is the childhood
home of Tom Aldrich who is the author of The Story of A Bad Boy.
Aldrich was known for his mischievous youth in Portsmouth. He was a prolific writer and poet and editor of the Atlantic Monthly.
During the 2011 Candlelight Stroll,
two young boys reenacted being
“bad boys” in the Aldrich House.
